PCs bedienen ist die eine Sache, Platinen und Drähte die andere.
Mein ohnehin Low-Budget-PC ist in die Jahre gekommen. Er tut das was er soll, aber eben recht langsam. Da ich auf die 30 zugehe, hab ich ja auch nicht mehr allzuviel Zeit

Aufrüsten oder neukaufen? Tja, das das Ganze eigentlich gar kein Geld kosten soll, will ich nun aufrüsten. Umsonst ist nicht mal der Tod.

Allerdings sind das für mich alles böhmische Dörfer. CL4, CL 5, 184pin, 240pin, DDR2, DDR3, 533Mhz, 667Mhz...

Vielleicht könnt ihr mir ja helfen, welchen Speicher ich einbauen "kann".
Im ] steht: "The mainboard provides 4 slots for 184-pin DDR SDRAM DIMM (Double In-Line Memory Module) modules and supports the memory size up to 4GB. You can install DDR400/DDR333 modules on the DDR DIMM slots (DIMM 1~4)." Wenn ich nun nach den verbauten Infineon AET660UD00-370A98Z (512 MB DDR-533) google, seh ich immer was von 240pin. (zumindest bei meinen favorisierten 1024MB RAM Riegeln)

Worauf muss ich beim Kauf achten? Vielleicht kann ja jemand auch eine Kaufempfehlung abgeben. Sofern es ins Forum passt, wäre eine neue leistungsstärkere Grafikkarte auch nicht schlecht. Aber ich glaub alles ist leistungsstärker als die jetztige 6600GT Aus dem Prozessor selbst wird ja nicht mehr viel rauszuholen sein. Was ist bei Grafikkarte und RAM für ca. 100 Euro machbar?

Die 400 steht dann sicherlich für die Mhz? Also nix mit 533 oder 667?

Was mich noch verwirrt sind die Pins. Im Handbuch steht was von 184 ("The mainboard provides 4 slots for 184-pin DDR SDRAM DIMM").

Also muss ich nur drauf achten, dass der Speicher 184 Pins und 400Mhz hat?!?!

ddr1 ram hat 184 pin,!! ddr2 ram hat 240 pin!! bei dir läuft ddr2-ram pc 400 oder auch pc 3200 genannt....
