Ich bin dabei per Remote einer Verwandten in London bei einem Computerproblem zu helfen. Eine Privatperson hat Ihr Windows Xp neu installiert, aber die Installation nicht komplet abgeschlossen, ich will sagen, diverse Treiver wurden noch nicht installiert.
Das Audioproblem sollte gelöst sein, so ist zu mindest ein unbekanntes Gerät weniger im Gerätemanager. Bleiben aber noch 2:
1x Cif Single Chip mit Freagezeichen versehen
1x PCI Simple communications controller
vom Hersteller des Board habe ich meiner Meinung nach alle Treiber heruntergeladen und installiert.

Es ist möglich dass eines dieser Geräte eine Webcam ist, aber meine Verwandte hat mir versichert dass sie diese vom Computer entfernt hatm damit wir zuerst die Treiber isntallieren können.
Weiss jemand Rat? Ich komme echt nicht mehr weiter!

Communications Controller könnte auch ein Modem sein (da steht was von Medion als Hersteller, Medion verbaut gerne so Modem/TV Combokarten).
hast du bei Medion schon geschaut? ansonsten gehts mit der umständlichen Methode auch noch: ]

Hallo Users
Danke für die Antworten.
Also, CIF Single Chip war tatsächlich die Webcam, meine Verwandte hat nun noch eine andere CD gefunden und eingelegt, dann habe ich über den Gerätemanager nach dem Treiber gesucht und "Treiber neu installieren" gewählt. Es fing an zu suchen und hat dann tatsächlich etwas installiert.
Fazit: Kamera läuft wenn auch die Farben und die Qualität ziemlich schlecht sind (liegt aber wohl eher an der Kamera selber)
Fehlt nur noch der Communications Controller.
Ich werd weiter dranbleiben und euch informieren.
