Ensure that the IDE cable and connectors are not damaged (check the pins carefully), and both sides are connected to the drive and your computer. - Authoring software used does not support your drive
- Use the authoring software provided with your drive. - When using other software, contact the software supplier (or check the appropriate website) to ensure that it supports your drive. - DVD/CD media not compatible with high speed
Use media rated for the highest speed your drive can write to or write at lower speed - Defective or damaged disc
- Always use high-quality media. - Disc may be dirty, scratched or damaged. Rewrite on another disc.

Ich vermute, der Brenner ist neuer als dein Windows DVD Maker und wird darum nicht erkannt.
Wenn es geht (?), den DVD Maker updaten (sollte über Microsoft Update laufen)
