Symantec Update Problem bei Linux - NullPointerException

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe folgendes Problem:

Wir wollten auf unserem Redhat Symantec Antivirus updaten und es kam folgender Fehler:

root# ./sav liveupdate -u

Command failed: Problem with LiveUpdate.
Check that java directory is in PATH
Unable to perform update

Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir da weiterhelfen.
(die PATH variable enthält den java pfad das haben wir schon ausprobiert)

Es löst zwar Dein Problem nicht, aber hier steht, was es damit auf sich hat:

Es wäre natürlich nett gewesen, wenn der Programmierer den Fehler abgefangen hätte und eine sinnvolle Meldung ausgegeben hätte, damit Du weißt, ob Du überhaupt was machen kannst, um das Problem zu beseitigen...

Abgespeckte Lösung

Hey Leute,

also wenn ich die Installation in der Reihenfolge:

sav
savjlu
savui

mache, bekomme ich keine Exception beim LiveUpdate.
Allerdings habe ich so kein AutoProtect.
Da meine Kernel Version nicht übereinstimmt liegt es wohl daran, obwohl in dem Implementation Guide steht, dass das egal sei und keine Auswirkungen hätte wenn man ap trotzdem installiert.
